Oversee utility vegetation management operations within assigned territories, ensuring alignment with safety, regulatory, and client standardsTrack project checkpoints and coordinate ongoing work to ensure timely and efficient completionMonitor and report on construction and field activities, maintaining accurate and detailed recordsConduct inspections and audits to ensure contract compliance and identify corrective actions when neededCollaborate with property owners, utility departments, local governments, and stakeholders to resolve concerns and facilitate communicationSchedule, attend, and lead project meetings; document key takeaways and action itemsAssist in developing and managing forestry work plans and associated budgetsConduct site patrols to assess vegetation and environmental conditions, and develop actionable short- and long-term plansPerform crew safety observations and deliver safety training in accordance with organizational policiesPrepare cost estimates and manage budgets for vegetation management and transmission line projectsMaintain GIS-based records and reporting systems; provide training to contractors on proper usageCoordinate and support the daily activities of forestry crews, planners, auditors, and utility forestersDocument compliance with resource protection measures and ensure regulatory adherenceSubmit daily activity and progress reports in a timely and accurate mannerPromote and support a culture of safety and environmental responsibilitySupport, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright’s culture of safety and employee ownershipComply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintain knowledge of and follow all company policies and proceduresMaintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetingsKnowledge, Skills & Ability Requirements:

Strong understanding of utility vegetation management, environmental regulations, and project complianceProficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and GIS or forestry management toolsSkilled in project coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and reportingAbility to interpret technical documents such as maps, reports, and construction plansEffective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholdersHighly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities independentlyAdaptable to field and office environments, with willingness to travel as neededCommitment to safety protocols and promoting a culture of compliance and accountabilityEducation, Certification & Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Urban Forestry, Natural Resource Management, Arboriculture, or related field (or equivalent experience)ISA Certified Arborist (or obtain within 6 months)Other Preferred Requirements: (driver’s license, CDL, pesticide or herbicide license, CPR or first-aid certified)
