Job DescriptionAECOM is looking for a Project Controls Supervisor to work in Lima, Peru.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Leads Project Controls program setup and implementation on EPCM projectsAssists in the development of project cost and schedule baselinesLeads the Project Controls team’s efforts of:Planning cost and schedule (work breakdown structure) metrics and toolsCollecting performance data (quantities, labor hours, subcontract work and other progress measurements)Compiling, monitoring and tracking daily cost dataAnalyzing Earned value based on credit rules and activity Steps configured in P6Performing schedule and cost risk analysis, including the identification of threats and opportunities, and their quantification using qualitative and quantitative methodsPreparing weekly and monthly reports detailing production, productivity, physical progress, S-curves, financial performance, and forecast trends, for both internal and client reportingOversees the production and maintenance of accurate project schedules. Having extensive knowledge in schedule critical path analysis, resource loading and levelingConducts root cause analysis to resolve schedule delays and cost impactsReviews performance trends, prepares analysis & cost impact based on Forensic schedule analysis best practicesSupports and facilitates change control processes in accordance with company procedures and standardsIdentifies and tracks potential changes to the project scope, ensuring estimates of cost & schedule impact are given visibility to the client and the project managementSubcontractor management: Coordinates with subcontractors to validate progress and performance data, evaluate schedule and cost impacts, and ensure alignment with contractual obligations and reporting standards.Assists in client and/or subcontractor negotiationsRecommends contractor invoices for approval and processingAssumes mentoring and training roles for the Project Controls team as requested.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Industrial, or Mechanical)+ 4 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Experience in engineering and procurement projects.Experience in Project Controls.Advanced Primavera P6 and MS Excel experience.English and Spanish fluency; with strong professional proficiency in both written and verbal communication.Additional InformationPreferred Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Industrial, or Mechanical) +6 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Experience in transportation design projects (airports, highways, rail systems, and tunnels)Software experience including SAP Controlling, PRISM, S10 and Oracle ERP.Licensed or registered Engineer (preferably CIP-accredited in Peru)International certification in Project Controls such us PMP (PMI) or PSP, CCP (AACE).PowerBI skills (basic or intermediate)Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
