Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Project Controls Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the planning, scheduling, and cost control aspects of our projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using advanced project management softwareMonitor project progress, analyze variances, and report on key performance indicatorsPerform cost analysis, forecasting, and earned value managementIdentify and assess project risks, developing mitigation strategies as neededPrepare and present comprehensive project status reports to stakeholdersCollaborate with project managers and team members to optimize resource allocationImplement and maintain project control systems and proceduresConduct trend analysis to identify potential issues and opportunities for improvementSupport the development of project budgets and cost estimatesAssist in the preparation of project proposals and bid documents

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred)Minimum of 10 years of experience in project controls or a similar roleAdvanced proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project)Strong knowledge of project control methodologies and best practicesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detailAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPointExperience with data visualization and reporting toolsStrong mathematical and statistical skillsFamiliarity with risk management techniques and earned value managementExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishAbility to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple prioritiesExperience in the construction, engineering, or energy sectors is a plusKnowledge of Arabic language and familiarity with Saudi Arabian business practices is beneficialRelevant project management or project controls certifications (e.g., PMP, EVP) are advantageous
