HDR is seeking a highly motivated Project Control professional to join our Transit Market Sector. This position involves providing project control support to our transit clients in Northern California. The individual will work directly in client offices to assist with project control needs and address client requirements. Strong skills in Primavera P6 and prior experience with various transit capital projects are essential for this role. An on-site presence at client offices will be required, and hiring will be contingent upon client approval. The ideal candidate should have experience working with transit agencies in California and North America. Experience with agencies such as Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), the Capitol Corridor Joint Powers Authority (CCJPA), and Caltrain is highly desirable.

In the role of Project Controls Specialist, we'll count on you to:Development and maintenance of multiple, concurrent detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 scheduling software.Generate master integrated schedule reports from Enterprise P6 Provide schedule updates for Monthly and Quarterly project reporting.Development of standardized procedures and templates for schedule development, updates, quality controlAssistance with implementation, quality control, or training related to standardized procedures.Support Project Managers to plan project changes and to baseline or re-baseline the project schedule as needed. Participate in lessons learned and risk reviews with project teamsParticipate in quality assurance reviews of other Project Control reportsPreferred QualificationsProficient in Primavera P6 EnterpriseMicrosoft office tools (Word, Excel. Visio, etc.) Strong organizational and time management skillsEffective oral and written communication skills; ability to articulate clearly and conciselyExcellent interpersonal skills when working with othersKnowledge of working with cost control and financial analysisFamiliarity with EcoSys, Microsoft ProjectA minimum of 3 years' experience in project controls work on engineering and construction projects, including planning, estimating, forecasting, scheduling, cost control, schedule control, and project reportsMinimum three days working at client site

The expected compensation range for this position is $94,325.00 - $134,750.00 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
