Job Description:
Parsons is anticipating the need for a Project Controls Manager to join our team and support on a complex infrastructure project in Dublin. In this role, you will manage planning, cost, risk, and performance functions across a major metro infrastructure project, ensuring accurate baselines for schedule, cost, and scope, enabling informed decision-making and effective governance.
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead project controls activities, including planning, cost management, risk management, and performance monitoring, across complex infrastructure projects.Establish and maintain standardized PMO frameworks, processes, and best practices to ensure consistent, high-quality reporting and delivery outcomes.Provide guidance and oversight to project teams, mentoring project controllers and driving continuous improvements in tools, processes, and reporting standards.Monitor project progress, manage change control, assess risks, and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment, effective communication, and compliance with governance and quality standards.What Required Skills You'll Bring:
10+ years’ experience in project controls, including at least 5 years in senior PCM roles, with a proven track record in high-value rail or infrastructure projects.Minimum Level 8 degree (or equivalent) in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.Extensive knowledge of project controls tools, planning, scheduling, cost management, risk management, and reporting principles.Experience managing complex projects within regulated environments, including understanding contractual and financial requirements.Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence multidisciplinary teams.What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Professional certifications such as PMP, APM, or equivalent.Experience in quality assurance and process improvement within the construction or infrastructure sector.Proven ability to deliver projects efficiently, manage multiple technical requirements, and maintain high standards of governance.Note: This position is contingent upon project award and future funding, this exciting new opportunity is planned to commence in Spring 2026.
