Job Description
The Project Controls Analyst plays a vital role in managing resources and ensuring seamless workflows across multiple projects. This position requires close collaboration with Principals and exposure to all US teams, providing an opportunity to work with diverse stakeholders and make a significant impact on project outcomes.
ResponsibilitiesAnticipate when project teams will require additional resources and forecast cross-project synergies and conflicting demands to keep Project Managers informed.Run bi-weekly staffing meetings, present information to all Principals, and send in-depth follow-up reports.Collaborate with Principals to stay updated on their project needs, requests, and expectations throughout the month.Maintain project schedules in Ajera for approximately 85 current projects.Interpret and understand the needs of individual projects and team members.Provide daily support to Project Managers (architects and engineers) through regular communication and analysis.Communicate effectively with all levels of internal stakeholders and work with technical staff to determine individual capacity.Work in-person with colleagues in New York and via Zoom with West Coast and other colleagues.Analyze employee utilization and project budgets as needed.Maintain flexibility and provide ad hoc support for the business team.Essential SkillsExperience with Ajera project management and accounting software.Solid understanding of Architecture/Engineering/Construction design project workflow.Minimum 1 year of experience in project management or resource planning at an Architecture/Engineering/Construction (AEC) firm.Strong working knowledge of Excel, pivot tables, and other data analysis tools.Effective problem-solving skills and ability to present findings.Ability to present ideas and analysis in visual/graphic format.Authorization to work in the U.S.Additional Skills & QualificationsPositive and engaging personality.Curiosity and eagerness to learn.Work Environment
This is a 5-month consulting assignment covering a leave. The role involves working in-person with colleagues in New York and via Zoom with West Coast and other colleagues. The work environment is dynamic and requires adaptability to changing project needs and workflows.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
