Your new role
The position is Project Controller (Temporary), for a 1 year contract.
As project controller, you will join a team of 8 colleagues working within finance and investment controlling. In this role, you will collaborate closely with team members to ensure high-quality project controlling, management reporting and financial compliance.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
Project controlling activities, including both investment and project capacity cost for several investment projects within the project portfolio. Performs month end closing activities and reporting of investment financial performance. Ensures that portfolio financial forecast insights are provided including risk reporting. Drives investment budget process in collaboration with project managers and the finance organization. Participate in projects to further develop and standardize the project controlling process As part of portfolio overview, performs yearly asset review and depreciation outlook.
Your new department
You will be part of Finance and Investment Controlling team in Aseptic Manufacturing Gentofte. The team manages all finance partnering and project controlling activities at the site. This includes driving process excellence, ensuring optimal resource allocation, delivering insights and actions based on the available data and being a proactive partner to the organisation.
You will join a diverse and high-performing team of 8 colleagues with different business experience levels. We use our varying experience to identify gaps and propose high-quality solutions which continuous improvement and development of the processes and the organisation.
Your skills & qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:
An academic degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or similar. 2 to 4 years of experience within Project Portfolio Management, Project controlling, auditing or financial controlling. Proactive, confident and able to constructively challenge at different levels of the organization. Strong analytical skills with the ability to establish an overview as well as focusing on details as needed. Understanding of pharmaceutical products and production processes would be considered as an advantage. Experience with Excel and PowerPoint; strong working knowledge with SAP and Clarity would be considered an advantage. Full professional proficiency in English.
As a person you can work independently, build and maintain relationships, and address challenges in a constructive manner. Moreover, you are well-organized and have a structured approach to your work; you excel in multitasking while prioritizing your efforts in an optimal way. You demonstrate good communication skills, and you work well in a team and cross functionally with stakeholders.
