Project Control Technician
Our client is seeking a **Project Controls Technician** to provide critical support in project planning, scheduling, cost control, and reporting activities. The role ensures that project execution is aligned with company objectives, industry standards, and client expectations. **Key Responsibilities** + Assist project managers and project controls specialists with planning, scheduling, budgeting, and forecasting activities. + Maintain and update project schedules using software tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project). + Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables to support accurate reporting. + Monitor costs, commitments, and expenditures; identify variances and support corrective actions. + Prepare weekly and monthly project reports, including cost and schedule performance metrics. + Assist in the development and maintenance of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS). + Support project change management by tracking scope changes, impacts, and approvals. + Ensure compliance with Air Products’ project controls processes, procedures, and best practices. + Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and finance teams to gather project data. + Maintain project documentation, logs, and databases for cost and schedule control. **Qualifications** + Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Business, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred). + 2+ years of experience in project controls, scheduling, or cost analysis (industrial or construction projects preferred). + Proficiency in project controls software (Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, SAP, or equivalent). + Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. + Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams. + Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. **Why Join Us?** If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
