Job Description SummaryThe Project Cleaner is a position within C&W Services’ operations team, responsible for performing periodic cleaning activities in designated work areas. Duties may include carpet cleaning; hard surface floor care, such as sweeping, scrubbing, buffing, stripping, and waxing; and specialized restroom cleaning using industrial cleaning equipment. Responsibilities

Specialized floor care procedures to include but is not limited to:

Damp mop and spray buff, wash floorsStripping and waxing floors

Specialized Carpet Cleaning procedures to include but is not limited to:

Rotary shampooingExtraction cleaning

Performs other periodic tasks to include but is not limited to:

High dustingExtensive Restroom CleaningSpecial Projects

Other:

Maintains a neat and orderly work area, including janitorial closets and storage areas.Performs all cleaning assignments in accordance with C&W Services approved procedures.Maintains cleaning equipment in good working condition and notifies the Account Manager or Supervisor if repair or replacement is necessary.Always works safely and promptly informs management about unsafe conditions existing in the work area.Wears personal protective equipment appropriate for the task being performed.Meets all client and C&W Services quality expectations in assigned tasks.Adheres to proper security procedures.Notifies management about problems or opportunities that affect service to the client.

overtime is required on weeksExtensive cleaning experience requiredMust be able to take direction, to work with minimal supervision, and to function cooperatively as part of a teamAbility to use cleaning tools and industrial floor equipment.Use a portable vacuum cleaner – back pack style. Requires attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.
