Project & Change Management Specialist
Job Description A leading retail organization in Vancouver, BC is seeking a Project & Change Management Specialist to support the Product Attributes Standards Initiative. This role plays a critical part in delivering new Product Attribute capabilities while ensuring the successful sustainment and adoption of existing processes across the enterprise. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys working across business and technology teams, and excels at communication, coordination, and change enablement. About the Role In this dual-focus position, you will partner closely with project leads, product attribute managers, technology teams, and business stakeholders to drive the implementation of new product attributes and guide the organization through change. You will wear multiple hats—project manager, change lead, and communicator—ensuring initiatives stay on track and stakeholders remain informed and aligned. Key Responsibilities - Project Management Plan and facilitate recurring meetings with business and technology stakeholders Develop agendas, document decisions, and track action items and risks Drive follow-through on deliverables and escalate issues as needed Support projects operating on tight timelines with multiple dependencies Change Management & Communications Develop and execute change management strategies for new Product Attribute enhancements Partner with process and training teams to support adoption and readiness Translate technical or data-driven changes into clear, business-friendly communications Prepare and distribute communications to a broad range of stakeholders Product Data & Attribute Support Support the rollout of new product attributes and attribute structures Assist with ongoing data cleanup and alignment to updated standards Act as a liaison between business users and technology teams Capture, clarify, and distill business requirements to support technical delivery Contribute to discussions around measurement, KPIs, and adoption success Day-to-Day Expectations Bring diverse stakeholder groups together and drive alignment Lead structured meetings with clear outcomes and accountability Communicate what is changing, why it matters, and what teams need to do Navigate ambiguity and adapt to evolving priorities Balance multiple workstreams while maintaining attention to detail We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements Qualifications Experience 4–5 years of experience in project management and/or change management Experience working in complex, cross-functional, enterprise environments Retail, apparel, or consumer products experience is strongly preferred Domain Knowledge (Preferred) Product data, product attributes, or product information management (PIM) Data transformation, data standards, or data governance initiatives Comfort working across both business and technical teams Tools & Technology Experience using tools such as Confluence and Jira (or similar) Strong Excel skills Familiarity with Snowflake or modern data platforms (understanding their role in business) Experience supporting data cleanup or data quality initiatives is a plus Core Skills Excellent written and verbal communication Strong stakeholder engagement and influence skills Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities Adaptable and flexible in environments with evolving ways of working What Success Looks Like Stakeholders are aligned, informed, and engaged throughout the project lifecycle Product Attribute enhancements are delivered on time and adopted effectively Business requirements are clearly translated into actionable technical inputs Change is communicated clearly, consistently, and with empathy
