Description Roseann Mabry is partnering with a growing company located in Columbia, Missouri for a Bid Coordinator. The full time onsite position for the Bid Coordinator will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth execution of project bids and estimations. This position involves collaborating with estimators, organizing bid materials, and coordinating with vendors to meet strict deadlines. The id Coordinator is supporting several Estimators for a busy division. There will be two Bid Coordinators in the department. The Bid Coordinator will maintain calendars and file systems, compile all documents for bid submittals, print off drawings, meet strict deadlines, create agendas for jobs, research future estimating opportunities, and coordinate vendors and subcontractor project invitations. The position of Bid Coordinator is an important role for the success for the company and will be joining a dynamic team. The annual salary for the Bid Coordinator will be up to 60K. Responsibilities: • Collaborate closely with estimators to support bid preparation and project planning. • Organize and maintain calendars, schedules, and file systems to ensure efficient project workflows. • Compile and submit all necessary documents for bids while adhering to strict deadlines. • Print and review construction drawings and blueprints to support project needs. • Research upcoming estimating opportunities and provide insights to the team. • Coordinate invitations for vendors and subcontractors to participate in projects. • Assist in the creation of agendas for meetings and job discussions. • Attend pre-bid meetings to gather critical project information. • Monitor and manage timelines to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule. • Contribute to the success of the department by maintaining high organizational standards. Requirements • At least 5 years of experience in project coordination or a related field. • Strong understanding of construction projects and bid management processes. • Proficiency in managing timelines and master scheduling. • Familiarity with scanning and organizing project documentation. • Experience working with blueprints and construction-related materials. • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. • Ability to attend pre-bid meetings and effectively communicate project details. • Strong research skills to identify future estimating opportunities.
