Description We are hiring multiple Event Specialists to assist with handing out event materials and guest registration for a large event near Ottawa, IL 6/27-6/28. This is a contract position, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys contributing to event preparation and operations. Responsibilities: • Distribute event materials during packet pickup sessions. • Assist with scanning QR code passes efficiently and accurately during the event. • Support event setup and breakdown activities to ensure smooth operations. • Maintain a focused and friendly demeanor while interacting with event participants. Requirements • Proven experience in customer service or related roles. • Familiarity with data entry processes and basic computer skills. • Ability to scan and process QR codes accurately. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Capable of handling physical tasks related to event setup and breakdown. • Flexibility to work during scheduled hours, including early mornings or afternoons.
