Project Assistant
Description We are in search of a Project Assistant to join our team located in Everett, Washington. The role is centered in the industry, with a focus on managing administrative duties to support an ERP migration. The position requires the individual to work on-site at our facility and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Assume administrative duties to support the Manufacturing Manager • Use specified metrics to establish standards for productivity, quality, and cost • Prepare daily and weekly metrics • Manage work orders and perform data mining tasks for scheduling purposes • Drive and oversee various productivity projects • Participate in one-on-one meetings and customer-facing communications • Manage, resolve, and complete ECOs/ECRs • Drive NCRs/RMAs to completion • Participate in vendor-managed inventory oversight and meetings • Assist in interviewing and hiring activities • Contribute and execute ideas for process improvements and cost savings • Represent the company professionally to all stakeholders • Adhere to all environmental health and safety policies, modeling safe work practices • Contribute to a positive and respectful workplace environment • Undertake other duties as assigned. Requirements • Proficient in Customer Service: The candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. • Experience in Data Entry: The applicant must have experience in accurate and efficient data entry, as this is a key aspect of the role. • Ability to Manage Timelines: The ideal candidate should have excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet strict deadlines. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel: The role requires advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manage spreadsheets, use formulas, and generate reports. • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook: The applicant must be comfortable using Microsoft Outlook for email communication, scheduling appointments, and managing calendars. • Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint: The candidate should be able to create, edit, and present PowerPoint presentations as required. • Experience with Microsoft Word: The role requires the ability to create, edit, and format documents in Microsoft Word. • Organizing Files: The applicant must have experience in organizing files, both physical and digital, for easy access and retrieval. • Skilled in Scanning: The candidate should be proficient in scanning documents, ensuring they are clear and legible for future reference. • Knowledge of Shipping Functions: The ideal candidate should understand shipping functions, including preparing, packaging, and dispatching items.
