Join a dynamic team as a Project Architect where you will be instrumental in performing code reviews, ensuring project compliance with budgets and schedules, and selecting and implementing design components. You will evaluate existing conditions and formulate responses to challenges, working on both significant aspects of larger projects and overseeing smaller ones. Your role will involve the daily design and technical development of projects and supervising the production of Construction Documents using CAD and BIM. Additionally, you will coordinate and conduct quality assurance and quality control of consultants' work, participate in construction administration for select projects, and maintain project files for multiple projects simultaneously.
ResponsibilitiesSupervise and produce Construction Documents through CAD and BIM.Coordinate and conduct QA/QC of consultants’ work.Manage between 1 to 15 projects at a time.Comply with internal project budgets and schedules.Document and communicate specific project tasks to clients and team.Conduct construction administration for select projects.Maintain advanced knowledge of construction techniques and material selection.Participate in prospective client interviews and communicate potential future projects to leadership.Work on a fair amount of new construction work of schools and office buildings requiring steel frame construction.
Essential SkillsProficiency in Revit is mandatory; must excel in producing CDs in Revit.Minimum 10-12 years of experience in education and public/state projects.Technical expertise in all phases of design, documentation, detailing, and construction.Licensed Architect.Ability to lead and train junior designers.
Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited program.Ability to work as part of a team and lead select projects.Experience in public works, educational architecture, and project management.Ability to observe and identify potential future projects.

The office operates in a fast-paced and sometimes hectic environment but also fosters a work-hard, play-hard culture with team outings, bagel Fridays, and happy hours. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
Benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance**, paid group life insurance, and short term
and long-term disability. You will be eligible for health, dental, and vision insurance upon commencement of
employment, and the balance of the benefits after successfully completing the 90-day probationary period.
Your PTO will accrue for the full calendar year as follows: 10 accrued vacation days, 5 accrued sick days, 2
accrued personal days, and nine (9) paid holidays. We offer flexible hours and a hybrid work setting after the
initial 90-day probationary period. SSP offers a voluntary 401(k) profit sharing plan as well as an employerfunded 3% safe harbor profit sharing plan; participation would begin after you have completed the plan’s
eligibility period of 1 year and 1,000 hours of employment.
