Project Architect
Job Title: Project ArchitectJob Description We are seeking a highly skilled Project Architect to join our team on a contract basis to support multifamily and student housing projects. This role is focused heavily on production and construction documentation and will work closely with an existing architect to meet tight deadlines and deliver high-quality drawing sets. Responsibilities + Produce full construction documentation sets for multifamily or commercial projects. + Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality drawing sets within tight deadlines. + Apply strong understanding of building codes and construction detailing to ensure compliance. + Work independently to manage project timelines and deliverables. + Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Revit is essential. + 7-15 years of experience in architecture construction documentation production. + Recent experience using Revit. + Commercial project experience, with multifamily projects being most attractive. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in commercial building design, excluding single family residential or interiors. + Construction administration expertise. + Design development knowledge. + Experience in mixed-use commercial architecture. Work Environment This position offers a hybrid work environment with an office located in Washington, DC. You will have the opportunity to work alongside an additional Project Architect, providing flexibility due to the contract nature of the role. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $48.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
