Project Advisor - open pit mining - engineering and maintenance

Requirements:
National Diploma in Project Management or any of the technical fields (Mechanical, Civil or Electrical (NQF6) minimum
Degree in Project Management or any of the technical fields (Mechanical, Civil or Electrical) - advantageous
3-5 years of relevant experience in project management in an advisory capacity.
Advanced knowledge of Project management. Advanced knowledge of mining (preferably open pit), processing or engineering industry. Advanced knowledge of key value drivers across the mining value chain and the interdependence therein. Advanced computer literacy (MS Office, Projects, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Projects). Foundational knowledge of ISO 21500 project management guidelines and a high-level project management framework. Foundational skills in using financial metrics, cost, value management and budgeting tools. Foundational skills in identifying and implementing business improvement opportunities and projects at mines. Competent in strategy implementation and business planning. Competent with the application of change management methodologies. Competent in written and verbal communication.
