The Studio Operations Localization team manages localized components, supporting worldwide releases of new Theatrical and D+ Studio branded titles. Our team engages in planning, vendor management, localization strategy, component ordering and execution, ensuring our content maintains the highest quality throughout the global lifecycle.
The Project Administrator will provide support to the Localization team. This role will assist with the transactional details of localized components related to text/picture for Theatrical and Disney+ Original titles. The ideal candidate is detail orientated with a keen interest in localization. They are excited to engage with team members, partners, and stakeholders both internal and external/international. Excels in an energetic, innovative, and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities:
Create orders for localized components; ensure systems are updated and orders are clear to vendorsMonitor milestones and maintain status updates in system to ensure reports are accurateRecognize when a plan is off track and escalate appropriatelyAssist with local territory requests for production assets to support localization needsCoordinate the day-to-day delivery prioritiesIdentify process improvement opportunitiesSupport APM and Manager on subtitle screening needsCoordinate localization strategy decisions and translations via Disney systems/toolsAssist with movement of assets and archive trackingUtilize a wide array of managing software programs, including, Smartsheet, Google trackers, Microsoft Project, and various Disney-owned systemsPartner with team on accounting, billing and PO requestsBasic Qualifications:
2+ years applicable experienceProficient in using applications such as Microsoft Office, G-Suite applications, Microsoft Project and SmartsheetStrong communication skills - able to establish working relationships with a variety of diverse people across many teams and disciplinesGreat organizational and time management skillsAble to prioritize and execute against multiple titles and deadlines at one timeHighly adaptable to change; nimble in accommodating changing prioritiesPreferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with localization including various assets such as subtitles, accessibility, inserts, dub credits and how they all work together to create a user experience (localization strategy)Familiarity with theatrical and digital workflowsUnderstanding of communication styles and approaches for various level of managementStrong sense of curiosity in approaches to solving complex problemsAbility to understand the priorities of complex business decisionsThe hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $64,600 to $83,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
