Job Title: Administrative Assistant / Work Management Technician
Job Description

This role supports project management teams by gathering field data, entering and maintaining information in work management systems, and assisting project managers with a variety of administrative and project-related tasks. The position bridges office operations and field activities, helping ensure that projects are clearly defined, properly documented, and efficiently executed. Candidates with backgrounds in business, engineering, construction, or development often thrive in this role.

ResponsibilitiesIdentify new work items in the customer’s online work management system and ensure they are accurately captured.Process work packets to create clear, actionable projects for field employees.Gather locate information for underground utility lines and disseminate it to the appropriate team members.Distribute project information and documentation to field crews to facilitate their work.Update project information and status in the work management system on a regular basis.Submit service requests within the system and track them through completion.Report project status and key updates to project supervisors in a timely and accurate manner.Maintain schedules for field crews, monitor changes, and advocate for their needs and constraints.Interface with the customer’s work management system specialists to resolve issues and improve processes.Provide administrative support to project managers, including data entry, document preparation, and general office support.Assist with project support tasks such as organizing information, maintaining records, and coordinating communications.Essential SkillsAssociate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.Experience providing administrative assistance, office support, or administrative clerical support.Familiarity with work management systems or work management processes.Ability to critically think, plan, multi-task, and manage time effectively.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel.Accuracy and speed in data entry and handling project-related information.Ability to work effectively with project management teams and field personnel.Additional Skills & QualificationsBackground or experience in construction or the energy industry is a strong plus.Experience in project support or project management environments.Bilingual ability in English and Spanish is highly desirable.Interest in career growth, supported by advancement opportunities within the organization.Work Environment

The role is based at a headquarters location in downtown Fort Worth in a standard office setting. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions, as most work takes place in a professional office environment. The position follows a daytime schedule, with typical shifts running either from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with some flexibility to choose the schedule that works best in alignment with team needs. The work environment is collaborative, supporting project managers and field crews through technology-driven work management systems and common office productivity tools.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
