Job Title: Project Administrator

Job Description

This temporary Project Administrator role supports day-to-day project management operations by maintaining project tracking systems, updating timelines and schedules, and keeping tasks organized. You will work closely with the project team to ensure that projects run smoothly, deadlines are met, and information stays accurate and up to date. This position offers exposure to project management processes in a fast-paced, growing organization and may lead to future opportunities based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day project management operations by assisting with coordination of tasks and activities.Maintain and update project tracking systems to ensure accurate and current information.Update project timelines and schedules, helping to keep projects on track and aligned with deadlines.Perform accurate data entry to support project documentation, reporting, and tracking.Organize project-related information, documents, and tasks to ensure easy access and clear visibility for the team.Assist in monitoring project progress and flagging potential delays or issues to the project team.Use project management and productivity tools such as Microsoft Office, Trello, monday.com, and MS Project to support project activities.Communicate clearly with team members to gather updates, clarify requirements, and ensure alignment on project tasks.Learn and apply basic project management principles under the guidance of the project team.Contribute to a fast-paced environment by managing time effectively and handling multiple tasks with attention to detail.

Essential Skills

Experience in project coordination or administrative support for project teams.Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, documentation, and tracking.Basic understanding of project management principles; PMP knowledge is a plus.Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (such as Word, Excel, and Outlook).Comfort with learning new software tools and systems.Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with team members.Ability to work reliably and self-motivate in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

This role is 100% on-site and follows a standard schedule of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will work in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes growth, learning, and collaboration within project teams.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Frederick, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
