Job Title: Project Accounting Coordinator (Deltek, Oracle, BST, or a large ERP system required)
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Accounting Coordinator who will support compliance with prevailing wage and CalTrans requirements. This role involves ensuring correct wage classifications, conducting certified payroll reviews, maintaining contract compliance, and documenting DBE requirements. You will coordinate closely with Project Managers and internal teams on all CalTrans-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely submission. The role also involves preparing fee proposals, drafting contracts, and ensuring projects adhere to contract requirements.
Responsibilities
Support compliance with prevailing wage and CalTrans requirements.Coordinate with Project Managers and internal teams on labor-related documentation.Prepare fee proposals and draft contracts for review.Ensure projects follow contract requirements and track amendments.Develop WBS structures and Project Authorization forms.Assist with processing subconsultant invoices and support project accounting workflows.Monitor project financials, including variance, revenue, budgets, and WIP.Serve as a liaison between internal teams, suppliers, and clients.Conduct pre-bill reviews and participate in monthly project review meetings.Support Business Operations with budget performance analysis and recommendations.Essential Skills
Experience with prevailing wage and CalTrans requirements.Proficient in invoicing and subcontract review.Ability to create template proposals and handle change orders.Skilled in creating pivot tables and Vlookups in Excel.Proficiency in Deltek, BST, or Oracle ERP systems.Additional Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of experience entering invoices.3+ years of prevailing wage experience.3+ years of CalTrans experience.3+ years of experience drafting contracts and subcontracts.3+ years of experience preparing proposal templates.3+ years of change orders experience.Experience working for an engineering or architectural firm with revenue over $150 million.Work Environment
This is a fully remote position with a preference for candidates located on the West Coast, preferably in California, due to the need for CalTrans experience. You will be part of a team with an excellent culture. We have successfully integrated over 20 individuals into the company in the last year, all of whom have expressed their satisfaction with the work environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Camp Hill, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
