\n\t\t\t\t\tKey Responsibilities\n\nManage project billing in accordance with contract terms, including time & materials, fixed fee, and cost-plus arrangements\nSet up new projects, budgets, and rate tables in the accounting system\nTrack and reconcile job costs, labor, expenses, and revenue\nCoordinate with AP/AR on invoice processing, collections, and cash application\nPrepare and distribute monthly project financial reports, including WIP, unbilled, and profitability analysis\nMonitor contract compliance, change orders, and budget variances\nSupport month-end close activities related to projects\nAssist Project Managers with financial questions, forecasting, and audit requests\nMaintain accurate project documentation and financial records

Additional Skills & Qualifications
\n\t\t\t\t\tQualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)\n2–5+ years of experience in project accounting, construction accounting, or professional services\nStrong understanding of billing, job costing, and revenue recognition\nProficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP); ERP experience a plus (Oracle, Deltek, NetSuite, etc.)\nDetail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills\nAbility to work independently while supporting multiple projects simultaneously\nStrong communication skills and comfort partnering with non-finance stakeholders

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plantation, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $34.00 - $38.00/hr.
