Job Title: Project Account Manager
Type: Contract

Work Hours: 8.30am-5.30pm
Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations & Compliance Lead and oversee the financial set-up of project companies upon award, including incorporation, paid-up capital management, and compliance with financial, regulatory, and statutory requirements imposed by local authorities. Direct and ensure system readiness, including the establishment of bank accounts and implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to support financial reporting, cash management, and statutory compliance. Provide oversight and guidance to the executive in coordinating with the Project Management Team, Group Finance, and external auditors to ensure construction accounting treatments are aligned with accounting standards, project requirements, and local regulatory requirements. Review and challenge financial performance analyses, including variance analysis and trend identification, and provide strategic insights and recommendations to support management decision-making. Oversee project-level tax compliance in collaboration with Group Tax, including tax filings, statutory submissions, and engagement with tax authorities where required.
Financial Planning Lead the preparation and review of annual budgets and rolling five-year forecasts for Offshore projects, ensuring alignment with project execution plans and strategic objectives.
Financial Modelling Oversee the preparation and review of project financial models, ensuring timely updates based on project developments and management requirements.
Financial Assessment: Review the financial assessments of vendors and counterparties, ensuring key financial and tax risks are identified, evaluated, and appropriately mitigated to protect the company’s interests.
Fund Management, Project Financing & Cash Flow Reporting Oversee the preparation and review of cash flow projections and financial information provided to Treasury and lenders for cash flow reporting and project financing activities, in coordination with the project team and Corporate Finance. Manage and provide direction on project funding requirements, including oversight of equity and debt documentation. Ensure effective oversight of vendor payments to ensure compliance with agreed credit terms and contractual obligations. JV managements (if relevant) Oversee the financial management of joint venture (JV) arrangements, including governance compliance, financial reporting, funding requirements, and alignment with JV agreements. Key Requirements Minimum 10-12 years of relevant working experience in financial and management accounting, project accounting, budget preparation, financial forecasting. Bachelor in Accountancy or equivalent Experience with SAP system is an added advantage. Experience in Oil and Gas industry is an added advantage. Proficiency in BM & English
