HOW A PROGRAMMER SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Builds and codes applications and/or models using various computer programming languages
● Interacts with members of Development, Test, and Architecture technical teams
● Creates and executes deployment plans for application code to target regions
● Develops processes and technical tools to assist in code and data deployment
● Maintains IBM Engineering Workflow Management (EWM) system for code and data change control
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
● Required Experience: Eight or more years of programming and/or testing experience, of which four of those years is in a Medicaid application development environment
● Required Technical Skills: IBM mainframe programming (in TSO), DB2/SQL, Subversion SCMS, IBM EWM SCMS
● Required Skills and Abilities: Written and verbal communication skills, ability to train others in NCMMIS processes, problem solving skills, experience in Agile development methodology
