Programmer Analyst II

Job Summary:
The Programmer Analyst II will design, develop, test, and implement software solutions and applications, contributing to the enhancement and maintenance of Jabil's critical business systems.
Job Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain software applications and systems using various programming languages and tools, adhering to established coding standards and best practices.
* Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications and design documents.
* Perform thorough unit testing, integration testing, and system testing to ensure the quality and functionality of developed solutions.
* Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers, to deliver integrated solutions.
* Troubleshoot and debug software issues, providing timely and effective resolutions.
* Document technical designs, code, and support procedures for future reference and knowledge transfer.
* Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and tools to improve development processes and system performance.
* Provide technical support and guidance to end-users as needed.
Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* 2-4 years of experience in software development or programming analysis.
* Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., C#, Java, Python).
* Experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and writing complex queries.
* Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
* Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle EBS) is a plus.
