Dubai, UAE

The role will be primarily Dubai office based with travel to Iraq on a visiting basis required.

THE ROLE

Based in Dubai but with regular trips to Iraq, primarily Baghdad, the successful candidate will be accountable for the execution and leadership of the programme to the client's satisfaction, consistent with cost, schedule and contractual requirements while maintaining bottom line responsibility for financial success. Delivery of expected results for financial, HSE, client satisfaction, budget, and schedule performance.

Project description

KBR have a five plus three option year contract with the Iraq Ministry of Planning to provide advisory consulting services and assistance in the areas of assessment of feasibility studies and project management, particularly strategic and mega projects, the intention being to create a successful environment for project execution  KBR are providing these consultancy services on a Task Order basis covering economic master planning, feasibility, technical and financial review of Iraqi Government initiatives across a number of sectors.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES·Lead and manage a large multi-disciplinary team of consultants to deliver successfully the task orders and the programme in accordance with policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the CompanyDevelop, implement, and monitor the overall programme as well as individual task order budgets and schedulesProvide subject matter advisory at executive levels of government (candidate to specify their areas of expertise and previous experience acting in a similar role)Health, Safety and Environmental performanceClient liaison and managementDay to day management of KBR staffProject management reporting to the Client.EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEDegree and/or Master's qualification in an appropriate field. MBA would be considered advantageousOverall relevant advisory consulting experience 25+ years, with a minimum of 10 years in the Middle East region to include major projectsProfessional memberships and chartershipsSound knowledge of all aspects of a major advisory consulting assignment.
