As a Programmatic Account Manager at Samba TV, you’ll manage and grow relationships with agency and brand direct clients, ensuring they derive maximum value from Samba’s suite of audience targeting solutions. You’ll work closely with Sales to support key accounts, drive audience activation strategies, and deliver a seamless client experience across the campaign lifecycle. Your efforts will directly impact client satisfaction, retention, and account growth.
Requirements: must live within 50 miles of a Samba Office in NYC, or CHI. Required in office 3 days a week (Tuesday-Thursday) with a possibility of increasing in the future. Requirements:Client Growth, Retention & SatisfactionOwn day-to-day account management for a portfolio of brand direct & agency clients & partnersPartner with Sales to develop strategic account plans, drive renewals, and identify upsell opportunitiesEnsure clients are effectively activating Samba TV audience and contextual data across all major DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, and Social PlatformsBuild trusted relationships with stakeholders through proactive communication and white-glove serviceLead business reviews focused on performance, delivery, and expansion opportunities
Campaign & Platform ExecutionOversee campaign setup and audience segment delivery across SSP and programmatic buying platformsSupport clients through the full campaign lifecycle: planning, audience building, activation, and QAProvide platform education and training on how to request, build, and deploy Samba TV audiencesTroubleshoot segment delivery issues and coordinate with technical teams to resolve activation challenges
Strategic Partnership & Cross-Functional CollaborationServe as a feedback loop between clients and internal teams to improve ease of activation and audience performancePartner with Sales on pre-sale planning, platform demos, and aligning client goals with audience solutionsRepresent Samba’s audience products with subject-matter expertise and a client-centric approachCollaborate with Product, Measurement, Revenue Operations, and Finance to deliver enhanced solutionsWho you are: Curious – Always learning, humble when you don’t know something, and eager to improveProactive – You see opportunity in every challenge and work fast to deliver value to clientsCollaborative – You’re a team player who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environmentWhat you bring:3–5 years of experience in account management, client services, or programmatic strategy rolesDeep knowledge of audience activation and programmatic buying across DSPs (e.g., The Trade Desk, DV360, Yahoo DSP)Solid working knowledge of DMPs (e.g., LiveRamp, Lotame, Adform) as well as SSPs (e.g., OpenX, Magnite, Freewheel)Experience working with agencies and brand-direct clients to deliver audience solutionsStrong communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive, collaborative approachCRM and project management tool proficiency (Salesforce, Jira, Asana, Trello, etc.)Strong Excel skills (SUMIFS, INDEX MATCH, pivot tables, VLOOKUP); SQL is a plusDeep understanding of the digital advertising and programmatic ecosystemBA/BS with a focus on marketing, business, data, or related experience$80,000 - $90,000 a yearSamba TV expects to offer a base salary between $80,000 - $90,000 USD per year for roles to be performed in New York City or California; actual base salary offered will depend on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Base salary is just one component of Samba TV’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include bonuses, short-term incentives and long-term incentives.
