Program Specialist (100% Remote)
Program Specialist – Patient Support (100% Remote) Location: Remote (U.S.-based candidates only) Employment Type: 6-month contract We are hiring Program Specialists to support patients—primarily those with Multiple Sclerosis—seeking financial assistance for high-cost medications. You’ll handle inbound and follow-up outbound calls, guide patients through enrollment tools, explain insurance coverage, and connect them with third-party pharmacies. This is a 100% remote role focused on compassionate, professional patient support. Key Responsibilities + Assist patients via inbound and follow-up outbound calls. + Use digital tools to assess financial assistance eligibility. + Explain insurance co-pays, deductibles, and available discounts. + Transfer patients to specialty pharmacies (e.g., Walgreens). + Maintain accurate documentation and provide empathetic support. Qualifications + 2+ years in healthcare customer service and call center roles. + High School Diploma / GED is required + Proven success working remotely. + Strong communication, empathy, and attention to detail. + Comfortable using CRM systems and digital tools. + Able to work independently with minimal supervision. + Willing to undergo compliance checks post offer. Preferred: + Experience with major medical conditions. + Familiarity with buy-and-bill processes or acquisition channels. + Exposure to insurance benefits support. Training and Schedule Expectations • Onboarding training will take place during the first two to two and a half days, scheduled from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM in either Eastern or Pacific Time, depending on your location. • Program-specific training will last approximately 6 weeks. • Post-training shift hours will be assigned based on business needs and will fall within the program’s operating hours of 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM EST. • Staff in Mountain or Pacific Time zones will be scheduled for later shifts. • Shifts may change based on business requirements. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
