About this Job
This is a professional-level position in the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), Office of Management and Finance (OMF), Digital Services Project Portfolio Management Section. This role supports Project Managers and Product Owners by developing, monitoring, and maintaining project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and budget forecasts.

Minimum Qualifications
Five years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus two years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR
A bachelor’s degree plus two years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR
An advanced degree or a Juris Doctorate plus one year of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
+ Assist with developing current and long-range plans, policies and procedures in regard to governance framework.
+ Conduct training and communication sessions to prepare internal staff and stakeholders of project governance framework, policies and procedures.
+ Subject matter expert for all DCFS computer systems and policies.
+ Conducts research or technical studies.
+ Conducts audits to assess compliance with governance standards, policies and procedures.
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: Probational, Promotional, or Job Appointment
Work Schedule: Typically, work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday. Flexible work schedules are available after meeting certain criteria and is dependent upon the position you are applying for. Some positions require working shifts.
