Minimum Qualifications Five years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus two years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR A bachelor’s degree plus two years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR An advanced degree or a Juris Doctorate plus one year of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services. EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: Job Duties: + Network with community resources to identify services and referral mechanisms. + Provide training to doctors, counselors, and other professionals on identifying Problem Gambling and referral resources. + Distributes Problem Gambling information and materials to individuals and groups including gaming sites. + Develop and provide education on Problem Gambling for specific audiences. + Research and promote the utilization of evidence based and best practices models for Problem Gambling. + Identify screening questionnaires, online resources, evidence-based practices, treatment options, hotlines, and any additional resources. + Assist Program Monitor Supervisor in the development of a Problem Gambling Media Campaign including but not limited to television, radio, billboards, social media, and print materials. + Develop and implement an outreach and media plan for Problem Gamily Awareness month in March. + Provide resiliency and coping skills to individuals with Problem. + Provides screening and referrals related to Problem Gambling. + Compiles information from activities and data collected. + Submits reports on data findings and facilities review teams to analyze and respond with recommendations. + Ensure the submission of proposals, documentation and research data is a timely manner. + Attend meetings as assigned.
