Job Description
The Program Manager 2 is part of the Corporate HR Business Partner team and coordinates, plans and executes initiatives and programs across the corporate HR Team, with a focus on the Technology organization. This role is responsible for aligning HR work across the corporate HR team into a cohesive, actionable roadmap and calendar, along with owning several HR Programs, to ensure the Corporate HRBP team can effectively deliver and support the business.
This is based in Seattle, WA, with four (4) in-office days per week at Nordstrom’s corporate office. The role reports to the Sr. Director, HR Technology with a dotted reporting line into the VP, HRBP Corporate Teams
A day in the life…
+ Prepare People Dashboards for client groups, including key HR metrics. Partner with HR Directors and COE teams to validate explanations for trends and outliers. Work with Finance team to enhance insight into Labor Cost.
+ Own coordination of the annual Pay & Performance process across the Corporate HR Business Partner team, including preparation of Pay & Performance calibration sessions and reviews with leaders of the Executive Team. Provide support to the entire Corporate HRBP team by creating presentation templates and data analyses. Support training across the client groups.
+ Manage the Voice of the Employee (Employee Survey) program across the Corporate HR Business Partner team. Create read outs for Senior Leaders and support preparation of decks across all client groups. Provide analysis for all client groups as needed. Monitor set up and follow-through of action plans.
+ Manage Talent programs for all client groups including Talent Calibrations and Talent Review. Manage Talent Review calendar for Corporate teams. Prepare Talent Review calibration sessions and read outs for Executive Team leaders. Support HR Business Partners by providing presentation templates and centralized analyses.
+ Own the semi-annual Tech Promotion process. Manage the process end-to-end in partnership with HR Business Partners. Provide communications plan. Create required materials and monitor submissions. Prepare reviews of submissions for leaders. Complete data updates in HR system.
+ Drive Hybrid Compliance across client groups by reviewing monthly reporting. Follow up on outliers.
+ Support HR priorities and Corporate HRBP People Plan activities. Monitor progress against goals.
+ Support Performance Management activities as needed, with a focus on the Tech organization.
+ Own Team Sharepoint as centralized data repository and resource.
+ Create and maintain a team calendar to anticipate resource requirements and due dates across HR and the client groups. Drive effectiveness of Team meetings through alignment with team calendar.
+ Co-own team development activities such as Team Offsite and training initiatives.
You own this if you have…
+ 5+ years of combined HR / project / program management experience
+ Experience in partnering with business leaders to drive people outcomes
+ Proven expertise in program management and business operations within a complex organization
+ Expertise in delivering integrated solutions
+ Skilled in organizational design and leading change management for large-scale implementations.
+ Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable plans at the appropriate level of detail based on the audience
+ Outstanding prioritization and time management skills
+ Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with an ability to apply insights to influence decisions
+ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
+ Ability to leverage AI tools to reduce manual work, optimize processes and improve work product

Pay Range Details
The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
$92,000.00 - $155,000.00 Annual
This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
