Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is actively seeking a Program Manager - Air Vehicle Integrated Product Team  (IPT) to join the USAF E-7A team in Tukwila, Washington. The Air Vehicle IPT is a highly dynamic team environment developing and maintaining Electrical, Mechanical Systems, Structures, Interiors and Payloads on the E-7 platform.

The E-7 is the world’s most advanced, capable and reliable Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) platform, having proven itself in operations around the world. The aircraft is designed to track multiple airborne and maritime targets simultaneously. It can provide situational awareness and direct other assets such as fighter jets and warships. The E-7 program is an important program for Boeing with significant growth potential. 

USAF E-7A Air Vehicle Program Manager will lead the cost and schedule performance, management/coordination of contracted supplier effort, the direct customer point of contact for the USAF Air Vehicle IPT and report directly to the E-7 Air Vehicle Director.

Position Responsibilities:

Driving USAF Air Vehicle IPT execution through the preparation and facilitation of the weekly program management meetings, monthly business performance reviews, and other program deep dives and/or non-advocate reviewsResponsible for USAF E-7 Air Vehicle technical supplier management of the power subsystem, radar fairings, interiors/payloads and major structural modification components.Manage Air Vehicle build integration activities for the USAF E-7 at both Birmingham, UK, and Tukwila, Washington.Manages employees and mid-level managers performing business management activities in the area of Program ManagementDevelops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectivesAcquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvementsDevelops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reportsProvides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processesManages, develops, and motivates employees and mid-level managersFostering a culture of inclusiveness, ownership and urgency with a focus on having fun

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience as a Project Engineer, Project Manager, Integrated Product Team Lead, and/or in Test and Evaluation Leadership5+ years of experience partnering with senior executives5+ years of experience articulating and implementing strategy-to-action plans5+ years of experience working on teams and projects that involve cross-functional and/or cross-business domains with executive interface experience1+ year of experience in project management including interfacing with suppliers, partnerships, and/or customers3+ year of experience with Supplier/Contracts/Program Management practices and processesBachelor's Degree or higher

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience in cross-functional leadership, collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships & proficiency in written and verbal communicationStrong presentation skills to executive level audience

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 25% of the time between Oklahoma City, Tukwila, Birmingham, UK and supplier locations.

Summary pay range : $192,950 - $261,050
