Job Description Summary

The Program Manager – Optimization is responsible for the end-to-end execution of the optimization agenda. The position will sit within Cushman & Wakefield’s Central Operations team, primarily focusing on driving the optimization agenda within the Asia Pacific (APAC), but also supporting a broader optimization effort across the Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) region.

About the Role:
 

Optimization Program Execution: Lead the end-to-end delivery of optimization initiatives across APAC and support efforts in the EMEA region. Translate strategic priorities into structured project plans with clear milestones, dependencies and risk mitigation.Process & Capability Assessments: Project manage functional assessments across service lines and regions. Analyze current state operations, cost structures capacity and process maturity. Identify optimization opportunities including consolidation, standardization and centralization. Business Case Development: Build robust financial and operational business cases in partnership with Finance, HR and broader Operations teams. Model cost savings, investment requirements, transition costs and ROI. Prepare executive-ready materials for governance forums. Stakeholder & Regional Support: Act as the primary support partner to regional leaders during assessment and transition phases. Coordinate cross-functional inputs from HR, Finance, Technology and Operations. Manage stakeholder expectations, risks and resistance points. Transition & Day 1 Readiness: Develop and manage detailed transition plans including timelines resourcing, communications and risk logs. Ensure operational readiness for Day 1, including process documentation, role clarity, governance setup and system access. Track stabilization post-transition and resolve early execution issues. Governance & Reporting: Establish program dashboards tracking financial, operational and delivery KPIs. Provide structured weekly and monthly reporting to Central Operations leadership. Maintain RAID logs and escalate risks appropriately.Continuous Improvement: Capture lessons learned from each wave. Refine assessment playbooks and transition methodologies. Build repeatable execution frameworks to scale across functions.

About You:

7-10 years of experience in program management, operational transformation or consultingExperience delivering centralization, offshoring, shared services, or operating model change preferredStrong financial acumen and experience building investment casesExperience working in global matrixed organizationsPostgraduate qualifications preferredPMP, Prince2 or similar certification beneficial but not mandatory
