Program Manager Materials
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead complex, large-scale initiatives in the Supply Chain space from concept through successful implementation. The ideal candidate will combine deep project management expertise, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to operate with a strong sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on optimizing processes and ensuring operational efficiency across various functional areas, including Planning, Procurement and Sourcing, Warehousing and Logistics
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end project management for supply chain initiatives, including planning, execution, and post-implementation review. Collaboratively define project scope, timelines, goals, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans and schedules. Monitor progress and adjust as needed to meet deadlines. Track project metrics and supply chain KPIs (e.g., inventory turnover) and present results to leadership. Collaborate with suppliers, distributors (e.g., Sysco, GFS), and internal departments to implement sourcing and logistics transitions. Oversee warehouse, WMS, and TMS projects to ensure smooth implementation and adoption. Analyze supply chain performance and present actionable recommendations to leadership. Support cost reduction efforts through process optimization and supplier alignment. Manage timelines, budgets, KPIs, and stakeholder communications for assigned projects. maintain documentation and reporting aligned with corporate project management methodology.Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in project management and execution, with a proven track record managing complex, large-scale projects. Expert or near-expert proficiency in SAP, including critical path identification, tracking, and measurement. Strong proficiency managing tools accordingly with his/her function. Demonstrated Supply Chain knowledge and hands-on experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to create and execute detailed project and transformation plans. Professional communication skills—able to read the room, speak clearly and concisely, and use tact in all interactions. Ability to operate with a strong sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment. Superior planning, organization, and collaboration skills. Highly motivated, self-directed, with strong critical thinking and thought leadership abilities.Preferred Attributes
Excellent business acumen with creative problem-solving capabilities. Demonstrated ability to manage projects from vision to implementation involving internal teams, contractors, and vendors.
