**Job Description**
The Program Manager Business Operations will be an integral part of the GSS Leadership Team (ELT), reporting directly to the VP. This role ensures critical program needs are met by serving as the liaison to other Strategic Business Units (SBUs); Strategic Capabilities Units (SCUs) and the Program Management Office (PMO). Key responsibilities will include: consolidating and managing staffing and resource needs to include facilities and information technology; Life Cycle Management (LCM) implementation; employee engagement; and other change management initiatives.
The Ground Systems & Services (GSS) Strategic Business Unit is responsible for driving business growth in the ground systems development, operations & sustainment, and technical services markets. This business unit focuses on designing, building and integrating ground systems in support of air and space-based assets, providing operational support for mission platforms and instruments and offering scientific and engineering expertise to our customers.
What You ll Do:
+ Serve as a key member of the Vice President s Leadership Team (LT); demonstrate a First Team mindset support of fellow LT members is a top priority.
+ Serve as liaison between GSS employees, and leadership, regarding company culture, employee well-being, project updates, proposals, and planning.
+ Play a key role in the organization and oversight of strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of executives.
+ Oversee and coordinate capital prioritization across the SCUs in support of the business unit.
+ Work with the Program Management Office (PMO) to support Life Cycle Management (LCM) implementation across the business unit, act as the SBU (Strategic Business Unit) LCM focal point.
+ Consolidate GSS forecasting for engineering and program management to inform hiring strategies.
+ Oversee cross-functional, organization-wide projects and initiatives; bring together important stakeholders and help drive decisions.
+ Together with Marketing and Communications, coordinate and align internal and external communications. Handle inquiries and developing action plans to address them and assist with the preparation and dissemination of communications.
+ Propose the creation of new systems and processes for optimized efficiency and productivity.
+ Collect and provide GSS stakeholder feedback for enterprise change initiatives and lead the change management process for the GSS organization.
+ Prepare for and follow up on meetings: prepare the VP for upcoming meetings by ensuring they have the information necessary to be productive and engaged.
+ Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
+ Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
+ Perform other duties as necessary.
**On-Site Work Environment:** This position requires regular in-person engagement by working **on-site five days** each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.
**Working Conditions:**
+ Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.
**Short-Term Incentive:** Subject to business performance and recommendations of management, this role may be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Bachelor s degree in a related field plus 10 or more years related experience.
+ Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
+ A current, active Top Secret security clearance is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.

+ Superb communication skills with documented presentation experience to senior decision-making and technical audiences.
+ Experience working with multiple executive stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $149603 - $254317
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
