Description
A Program Manager II for Inter FC warehouse Transfers for Amazon's Transportation network will -
1. Lead transportation planning & program charter for Inter FC warehouse Transfers network [ IXD flows, Transhipment , etc.], partnering with all stakeholders – supply chain, finance, FC & LH operations, ACES/ PE etc.
2. The role will interface closely with partner teams to do cost benefit analysis on implementing change which may influence surface trucks routing.
3. This role also works closely with FC ops/ PE for process improvement strategies to reduce linehaul costs, and lead the implementation of new programs aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and service speed within the surface network.

Key job responsibilities
Network Strategy & Optimization
- Lead strategic initiatives to optimize the surface network architecture like multi pick, multi drop, tail loads, surface consolidation on trucks
- Analyze network performance metrics to identify optimization opportunities
- Create data-driven solutions for network design and capacity planning
Cost optimization charter
- Own and drive cost reduction targets for surface operations
- Develop business cases for strategic initiatives
- Partner with Finance to track program benefits and ensure accurate reporting
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities across the network
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with cross-functional teams including Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and ACES
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to align on network strategy and execution
- Present regular updates to senior leadership on program status and benefits
Process Improvement
- Lead end-to-end process improvement initiatives
Identify and implement best practices across the network
- Design and execute new programs to enhance operational efficiency
- Drive standardization of processes across regions
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
