**Job Description** BAE Systems is hiring a Program Manager (PM) for our Combat Mission Systems (CMS) business. This Program Manager II will be responsible for managing and delivering scope on our Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV) Production program. The role reports directly to the AMPV Program Manager. This position will focus on various areas of production where you will work with a cross-functional team to ensure the program meets schedule, operates within budget, and at the expected level of quality. Location/Schedule/Travel: + This position will be based in York, Pennsylvania or Sterling Heights, MI. + The role works on a 9/80 schedule where you will have every other Friday off + This position will involve 25% of travel, based on business needs. **Program Manager II will be responsible for:** + Managing scope to achieve cost/profitability, schedule, and technical performance objectives + Establishing and leading the matrixed team delivering the scope (engineering, quality, operations, supply chain, manufacturing, and/or others) + Monitoring and controlling activities on current contracts including disciplined, effective change management + Leading AMPV program s organization, planning, program management, and change management according to BAE Systems Life Cycle Management (LCM) and Business Management System (BMS) processes + Actively and effectively managing risks and opportunities + Making timely decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures + Continuously improving program performance including capturing, evaluating, and sharing lessons learned + Meeting financial commitments for orders, sales, profit and cash flow + Developing and executing program/project plans specifying goals, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources + Managing, understanding, and communicating program Earned Value Management metrics and processes + Leading the development of capture plans and preparation of proposals in response to various customer requests + Attract, motivate, and lead teams, from multiple sites and/or cultures, including industry partners and suppliers + Lead and inspire diverse teams in a high tempo environment **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Bachelor s Degree and 10 years of experience or equivalent experience + Experience with some but not all aspects of program management including schedule, estimating, cost estimating, earned value management, production planning, and proposal/capture management. + Experience in People Management/Leadership, leading and managing multi-disciplined project teams + Experience in Program Scope Management and Cost Estimating, including Estimate to Complete (ETC) and Estimate at Completion (EAC) processes + Ability to support new business capture, including proposal and ECP incorporation + Ability to build strong relationships and effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) at all levels within the customer community + Ability to attract, motivate, lead, and inspire diverse teams + Demonstrated excellent communications skills, both oral and written + Demonstrated ability to act independently within established guidelines. + Experience in managing technical baseline and contract changes. + Demonstrated ability to engage cross-functional teams to understand program requirements and deliver required products on time. + Demonstrated ability to work with personnel in the following areas to plan and execute programs: contracts, engineering, finance, facilities, logistics, material planning, supply chain, quality, and USG agencies including DCMA, US Army, and Program Management Mounted Armored Vehicles (PM MAV). + Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and delegate. + Highly proficient with Microsoft suite, excellent written and verbal skill, proficient communicator, and problem-solving skills. **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Association with organizations for project management (e.g. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or similar). + Broad knowledge of Finance, Operations, Manufacturing, Program/Project Management, and General Management. + Experience in Combat Vehicles development, qualification, production, and/or sustainment programs a plus + Experience in the application of Earned Value Management System, Master Planning Techniques (IMP/IMS), and Subcontract Management + Experience with US Army Programs management. + Knowledge of Military Operations and Government Procurement System. + Bachelor s degree in engineering or technical field a plus + Graduate Degree in Business (MBA) a plus **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $136000 - $231200 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
