We are seeking an experienced Event Producer to support and execute key aspects of our conference in partnership with the Event Lead. This role demands strong project management skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across various workstreams. The candidate should be proficient in platforms such as Bizzabo, Keynote, Figma, and PowerPoint, with extensive experience in partnering and managing vendors for live events. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter capable of driving multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail. They should be comfortable in both strategic planning and hands-on execution roles, with a proven ability to deliver exceptional results in high-pressure situations.
ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage the comprehensive event agenda development and timeline.Drive the website launch initiative through a phased approach, working closely with vendors and internal teams. Responsible for day-to-day maintenance and all event details.Oversee the production and delivery of all printed conference materials, coordinating with design and vendor teams.Lead and drive the presentation and rehearsals for the speakers, including preparation and technical run-throughs.Lead and drive the event volunteer program strategy, management, including recruitment, scheduling, and coordination.Manage the event technology platform (Bizzabo), ensuring proper setup and integration of all event components.Essential Skills5+ years of experience in large-scale event production and management.Proven track record of successful volunteer program management.Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent and complex workstreams.Experience with event technology platforms, specifically Bizzabo.Experience with key design platforms, including Figma, PowerPoint, Keynote.Excellence in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.Strong presentation and rehearsal management experience.Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to deliver results leading up to the event.Experience in website launch management and printed materials production.Additional Skills & QualificationsFormer Amazon employees will be prioritized.Ability to manage complex creative programs and projects end-to-end.Adaptability and flexibility.Creative problem-solving.Strategic planning and execution.Team leadership and coordination.Vendor and stakeholder management.Budget management.Risk assessment and mitigation.Quality control and attention to detail.Problem-solving and decision-making.Time management and prioritization.Work Environment
The role is onsite in Seattle, with regular hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 1-hour lunch break. During the event days, which are October 7th and 8th, extended 12-hour workdays are expected. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, reflecting the excitement of large-scale event production. The Event Producer will collaborate closely with the lead event producer, manage catering, facilities, and build out workstreams, and will be instrumental in delivering a successful event attended by 2500-3000 people.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75.00 - $80.00/hr.
