The Program Manager role is responsible for planning and governance and for overseeing the successful delivery of the Program. The Program Manager must have practical experience of having been a Project Manager for large and complex initiatives in the energy sector with CIS expertise.
Your future duties and responsibilities:• Manage the CC&B implementation for a utility company. This includes managing all the different programs, functional workstreams as well as coordinating with the business groups.
• Ensuring the effective delivery of project activities, within approved scope, schedule and budget, while ensuring client satisfaction;
• Continually seeking opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships, including promoting client collaboration on the resolution of any disputes or issues that arise during the project;
• Facilitating the definition of clear and attainable project objectives,
• Managing project financials and budget to ensure expected project margin / profitability is met;
• Maintaining the healthy management of your project by mitigating risks and defining resolution plans
for addressing issues;
• Managing 3rd party vendors as it relates to the program
• Managing multiple workstreams along with their interdependencies
• Clearly articulating risks, impacts and mitigations to management
• Ensuring the client’s outcomes and objectives are met
• Maintaining the project plan with all relevant information documented & updated on an ongoing basis
• Managing the communication clearly and articulately to ensure stakeholders are kept informed
• Assisting in the preparation of proposals in conjunction with sales and delivery as required;
• Developing detailed statements of work, estimates and work schedules;
• Mentoring team members and junior Project Managers
• Providing and delivering Executive status reports
Education:
• Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience
• PMP designation.
Required Qualifications:
• Must have CIS project management experience
• Must have experiencing presenting in front of CxOs
• Must have experience working in the Utility sector
• 10+ year of managing large-scale, complex projects in a complex, multi-geographical environment & multi-vendor
• 10+ years of Project Management experience, including Program Management experience
• PMI certification.
• Demonstrated success establishing and maintain Executive-level relationships
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
Nice to have
• CC&B project management experience
• Knowledge of CC&B functional workstreams
