KBR is seeking a highly motivated self-starter, adaptable to a fast-paced exciting environment as a Program Manager, to support KBR’s Commercial Security program that offers professional security services to federal contractors in support of their mission areas.
Position Summary:
Oversees task planning on several projects or professional service lines; reviews resource requirements and verifies financial estimates; provides guidance for functional teams across a suite of projects to balance priorities; is responsible for project data integration and tracking of financials, quality service levels, and implementation of corrective actions based on variance and critical path analysis for the entire service; balances customer expectations with internal business goals; participates in business planning efforts and facilitates execution. Responsible for quality checks of financial records while meeting customer needs per agreed commitments. Has the ability to lead large functional teams through execution steps of a process roadmap and understand project implications associated with process integration.
Working directly with the OU Director to help implement project goals, assign duties to staff to implement project goals, as needed. Liaise with project leads, contract manager, and project controller to maintain project schedule and efficacy. Monitor client communications, identify clients’ or stakeholders’ project needs and goals, create a detailed plan to successfully complete a project. Organize and maintain project reports and documents.
The Program Manager must have a deep understanding of all aspects of Program Management practices and processes in accordance with the guidelines set for by the Program Management Institute (PMI). Advanced knowledge and use of business concepts and accounting principles associated with the project cost and budgetary planning and control. Communication skills and abilities are needed to interface and work with business unit Contracting and Controller.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage a commercial security program serving 50+ clients, ensuring alignment with security regulations, compliance standards, and tailored cybersecurity solutions.Contribute to marketing strategies and sales efforts, promoting security services to prospective clients and assisting with business development to drive growth in the program.Oversee the development and implementation of project roadmaps, including schedules, budgets, and marketing strategies.Responsible for the overall cost, schedule, quality, administrative and technical performance for the projectPerforms a range of project management activities, such as developing program strategies, tracking and scheduling, and establishing and maintaining databases Manage multiple funding streams to include coordinating with Government customers to properly allocate funding to purchases and projects Supervise employees to include timecard approval, performance reviews, and hiring actions Manage subcontractor on-boarding and execution, deliverable submission, cost/schedule/performance, and closeout activities Supporting the industrial security program and ensuring company and customer security requirements are met.Ensuring compliance with all aspects of the government and company security policies and procedures related to physical access to buildings, room, couriers, clearances, packages, documentation and debriefings.Highly effective organizational, interpersonal, communication, and group leadership skills Ability to reliably operate in a complex and changing environment, demonstrating solid independent judgment Build effective, long-term relationships with new customers and maintain relationships with existing client contacts.Basic Qualifications:
Active Top Secret Clearance, SCI EligibilityBachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience leading small teams of personnelProject Management Professional (PMP) Certification Business development experienceConduct research and analysis of business opportunities through market research, financial feasibility studies, and planning consistently with the organization's long-range and strategic plans.Identify market opportunities and work with technical teams to grow profitable revenue for the company.Preferred Qualifications:
5 to 7 years of direct experience supporting a DoD or IC organizations Experience with Risk Management Framework policies and procedures supporting government Cyber Security programs.Salary range: $109,940 - $164,795. The salary range posted is for Maryland locations. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.
