Program Manager
**Job Description** BAE is seeking a highly skilled and motivated program manager to lead an oversee a critical defense contract initiative. In this role, you will manage project execution, coordinate cross functional teams, and ensure successful delivery of a complex defense program that support national security objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in defense program management, excellent leadership abilities, and a proven track record of driving projects to completion on time and within budget. This position can be based in Westminster, Colorado; Clearfield, Utah; and Fort Walton Beach, Florida. It requires working onsite at a BAE office, with up to 50% travel. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, schedules and budgets. Lead-cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with program goals and fixed price contract requirements. Monitors program performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Communicate program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders, including senior leadership and government customers. Ensure compliance with contract requirements, regulatory standards, and company polices. Facilitate effective collaboration between internal teams, subcontractors and external partners. Manage resource allocation and optimize utilization to meet program goals. Support proposal development and contract negotiations as needed. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program efficiency and quality. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or related fields. 12 years of program management experience, preferably in the defense or aerospace industry. Proven experience managing complex fixed price design, development, and production contracts. Proven experience managing large, complex defense contracts and multi-disciplinary teams. Strong knowledge of defense acquisition processes and government contracting regulations. Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) processes and tools is required to effectively monitor and control program performance. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with project management tools and software to include MS Project with the ability to maintain and update master schedules. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Must ability to obtain a secret clearance. **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** Master s degree or higher in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related fields 10 years of program management experience in defense or aerospace, or related high-technology industries. Experience managing programs involving radar, missile defense, or similar advances defense technologies. Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition lifecycle, and Defense compliance standards. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent. Experience with Agile or other iterative development methodologies. **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $153377 - $260743 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
