Job Description We are seeking a Governance Program Manager to stand up and run a Management of Change (MoC) process for reassigned datasets in a utilities-style environment (gas, electric, and related business systems). This role focuses on data ownership, process creation, and program execution, partnering closely with leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure smooth dataset transitions and clear accountability. Key Responsibilities Design and implement a Management of Change process for dataset reassignment, including intake, approvals, transitions, and communication. Establish and maintain data ownership and stewardship roles, decision rights, and handoff expectations. Lead program management activities to set the governance program up for success (charter elements, cadence, tracking, reporting). Support data management activities tied to reassigned datasets and governance routines. Partner with managers and stakeholders across utility domains to drive alignment, adoption, and issue resolution. Facilitate governance working sessions and forums; document decisions and follow‑ups. Skills and Requirements Proven experience in program or project management and process creation. Experience working in or alongside data governance or data management initiatives. Strong stakeholder communication and facilitation skills. Ability to create structure in complex, cross‑domain environments. Familiarity with GIS systems and/or GIS datasets is strongly preferred. Experience in a utilities environment (gas, electric, infrastructure, asset‑heavy orgs) is a plus.
