Program Manager
Job Description An enterprise customer is seeking a high-level Program Manager in the Denver, CO area. - This role is ideal for a strategic leader with a passion for orchestrating complex, cross-functional initiatives that deliver measurable business value. Key Responsibilities: - Program Leadership: Manage one or more enterprise-wide, high-impact IT programs composed of multiple interrelated projects. Ensure alignment with our customer's strategic goals. - Strategic Alignment: Translate business objectives into actionable program roadmaps. Partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure delivery meets both tactical and strategic needs. - Governance & Execution: Establish and maintain program governance frameworks. Monitor progress from initiation through delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. - Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify risks and dependencies across projects. Develop mitigation strategies and ensure timely resolution of issues. Resource Optimization: Coordinate and allocate resources across projects to maximize efficiency and impact. Continuously seek opportunities to improve cost, performance, and delivery schedules. - Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Facilitate clear communication, manage expectations, and ensure high levels of satisfaction. Performance Metrics: Define and track success metrics. Provide regular updates on program status, milestones, and outcomes to executive leadership. - Market Awareness: Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and internal practices that influence SSPP initiatives. - This role will be a dual role, 90% PM and 10% Scrum duties - Can pay $50-55/h We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements - 2–5 years of experience managing complex IT programs or portfolios, preferably in a digital product or platform environment. - Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive large-scale initiatives. Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and/or SAFe methodologies. - Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Experience with program management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, MS Project). - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
