Program Manager
Job Title: Program ManagerJob Description

A leading defense technology company specializing in advanced loitering munition systems and tactical solutions is seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to lead and manage complex Department of Defense (DoD) programs. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical acumen, proven leadership in integrated project teams, and deep familiarity with DoD acquisition processes. The Program Manager will serve as the primary interface with government stakeholders, executive management, and industry partners, ensuring alignment with customer priorities and operational strategy.

ResponsibilitiesLead cross-functional Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) across engineering, production, quality, supply chain, procurement, and development.Define and align project scope, milestones, and KPIs in coordination with internal stakeholders, government customers, research labs, and industry partners.Ensure program alignment with customer priorities and the company's integrated operations strategy.Represent the company with the PMO, government agencies, and subcontractors.Lead budget planning, cost analysis, and contract management activities in accordance with DoD acquisition guidelines.Manage program budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost reduction strategies.Oversee subcontractor performance, vendor coordination, and procurement activities.Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to evaluate and integrate new technologies into program solutions.Ensure technical deliverables meet program requirements and customer expectations.Drive continuous improvement and innovation across the program lifecycle.Ensure compliance with DoD acquisition regulations, export control laws, and internal policies.Identify and mitigate program risks; develop and implement contingency plans.Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

Work Environment

The position is based onsite in Stafford, VA. The role will involve working closely with a team dedicated to adapting existing HERO technology to meet the needs of awarded Department of Defense contracts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Stafford, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $200000.00 - $220000.00/yr.
