Program Manager Job ID 235836 Posted 05-Sep-2025 Service line Advisory Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Property Management Location(s) Boston - Massachusetts - United States of America **About The Role:** As a CBRE Program Consultant, you will be responsible for the successful execution of program management services (pre-planning, execution, stabilization and closeout) within an assigned market or client account to achieve the company's strategic business objectives. This job is within the Program Management function. They are responsible for the creation and delivery of strategic programs representing major company initiatives. **What You'll Do:** + **Project Planning & Execution:** + Develop project timelines, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with key collaborators. + Guide cross-functional projects and programs end-to-end using a formal process. + Facilitate the development of project charters, integrated timelines and risk/mitigation trackers + Ensure all functions stay on schedule and that issues are resolved or advanced. + Collaborate with the core team to develop solutions, risk mitigations, and manage the project team through implementation, completion, stabilization, and handover. + **Stakeholder Management & Communication:** + Facilitate regular governance meetings (Kick Offs, Readiness Reviews, Weekly Control Calls, Steering Committee Calls, Lessons Learned). + Present routine reports, including status reports, project metrics, and updated Gantt charts. + Explain difficult or sensitive information to collaborators. + Work to build consensus and convince others to reach agreement. + Proactively identify and socialize potentials risks and mitigation plans. + **Process & Improvement:** + Deploy organizational processes and procedures and provide recommendations for improvement. + Review business requirements and other documentation from multiple sources to identify and resolve cross-initiative dependencies and ensure consistency of approach. + Establish new techniques to ensure the team meets its objectives. + **Team Management & Collaboration:** + Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of the team and broad knowledge of several teams within the function. + Convey performance expectations and solve problems. + Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values. + Guide team through the application of basic knowledge of practices and procedures. + Collaborate with the project team to develop solutions, risk mitigations and manage the project team through implementation, completion, stabilization and handover. + The ability to remain calm, composed, and focused in high-pressure situations, effectively managing stress and maintaining a professional demeanor during challenging project phases and deadlines. This includes proactively mitigating stress, remaining rational, and making sound decisions even when faced with unexpected obstacles or tight timelines. + **Administrative & Operational:** + Provide project content and administrative support as required. + Manage the planning, organization, and controls for a major functional area or department. + Ensure personal and team outcomes have a positive impact on customer objectives. + **Impact & Decision Making:** + Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within the team and other related teams. + Work within broad guidelines and policies. + Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions. **What You'll Need:** To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to perform each crucial duty satisfactorily. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. PMP or CAFM certification preferred. + Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. + Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and Smartsheet products. Power BI experience a plus. + Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality. + Professional background with systems implementations, mergers/acquisitions, re-engineering or other large/complex projects preferred + Deep operational knowledge in complex organizations preferred + International work experience a plus + Sophisticated math skills. The minimum salary for the Program Manager position is $115,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Program Manager position is $125,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
