Program Manager
Job Description: Program Manager

The Program Manager role is a full-time onsite position located in Janesville, WI. This position requires leading and influencing program teams, overseeing the coordination and implementation of various ammunition system projects, and ensuring quality and timely delivery within budget parameters. The Program Manager will engage in daily tasks including program planning, resource allocation, risk management, and communication with internal and external program stakeholders, utilizing high levels of operational judgment to achieve goals and successes.

ResponsibilitiesWork closely with customers and suppliers to ensure strategies and priorities are communicated and well executed within the assigned programs.Lead cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain to achieve program successes.Oversee the development and management of cross-functional, technology-led, focused programs.Influence programs to meet customer expectations.Create and ensure effective and efficient communication across business functions, motivating and energizing the team through leadership.Solve complex and ambiguous problems leading the strategic and forward-thinking cross-functional program execution, including concept discussion, program execution, and supply chain integration into production delivery.Collaborate with customers to solicit product feedback to meet product quality and customer expectations.Provide mentoring and coaching to develop cross-functional talent.Offer expert guidance and support to the product program organization in various technical/functional aspects of research, engineering, supply chain, and service.Drive a culture of innovation, engineering excellence, accountability, continual improvement, and collaboration.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.Five years of experience in Manufacturing Operations or Engineering.Two years of experience in program management, project leadership, or driving new product introduction.Strong influential and communication skills with experience in cross-functional relationships.Demonstrated execution at meeting project goals while satisfying quality, performance, schedule, and budget.Engineering knowledge, program management, and business planning processes experience with the full product lifecycle.Familiarity with regulatory standards.Ability to deliver results while leading multiple projects simultaneously, balancing resources, timing, and quality of outcomes.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering.Knowledge of Program and Project Management methodologies, processes, and tools.Experience in Risk Management and Business Continuity.Six Sigma Green/Black belt certification.Project Management Institute (PMI) accreditation (PMP) or equivalent.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
