**Job Description**
BAE Systems Inc is seeking a Program Manager to join its organization in Phoenix, AZ.
You will aid with designs, development, and manufacturing critical, life-saving equipment for the U.S. Military and other commercial / international customers.
You will manage several programs within our aviation protection product area.
Responsibilities:
+ Manages all aspects of program Monitoring and Control including profit, sales, orders, inventory, cash flow and working capital for program.
+ Monitors and controls program cost, schedule, and technical execution using earned value management and other best practices.
+ Provides program leadership in Program Execution, anticipates and resolves problems, and ensures inter-group cooperation to meet all program obligations and objectives.
+ Interfaces with customers on all program issues including cost, schedule, technical, and contractual status.
+ Leads Risk and Opportunity management activities.
+ Interfaces with Supply Chain to execute and control the purchasing/procurement of goods and services.
+ Leads the program planning.
+ Develops and executes a program execution plan, including stakeholder analysis, establishing internal/external program plans, marketing strategies, budgets, schedules and resources necessary to achieve program goals.
+ Leads BAE Systems Lifecycle Management (LCM) implementation.
+ Ensures LCM mandates are implemented for the program and ensures program documentation is of acceptable quality and completeness.
+ Understands the program financial position and leads the program response during Contract Status Reviews.
+ Participates in LCM reviews as an Assessor or Chairperson.
+ Actively promotes a culture of safety, health, and personal well being for self, employees and the program team.
+ Maintains a safe work environment and ensures compliance with safety and environmental objectives and policies.
+ Proficient in managing to and complies with all company policies and procedures including but not limited to ethics, export control, proprietary information, document/record retention, public communication, etc.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study with 6 years of experience OR equivalent education/experience
+ Ability to lead matrixed cross functional teams.
+ Strong organizational and analytical skills, capturing information, prioritizing tasks, and organizing eectively.
+ Understanding and appreciation of cost control and project scheduling.
+ Ability to eciently and eectively compile data, prepare reports, and presentations.
+ Experience with Microsoft Word and Power Point and Microsoft Excel.
+ Strong ability to foster collaboration and lead teams, with excellent interpersonal skills.
+ Able to multi-task, managing multiple projects concurrently.
+ Attentiveness to complete accurate work, punctuality to assigned tasks, and ability to work within a team environment.
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Finance, or Business.
+ Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
+ Prior career experience in aerospace or defense related industries.
+ Skilled at creating, executing, and monitoring projects using Microsoft Project or similar applications.
+ Experience providingsupport toproject/program planning, execution,operations, andbusiness development activities.
+ Experience in compilingmaterials forproject management reviews(contract status reviews, phase reviews, integrated business plan inputs, etc.).
+ Experience interfacingdirectly withcustomers,suppliers, andinternal stakeholders.
+ Knowledge of Earned Value Management systems.
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $105254 - $178931
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
