Post has aggressive growth plans for BEF, highlighted by the recent deployment of capital to support innovation, marketing and manufacturing. Responsibilities The Program Manager (PgM) is accountable for providing expertise in planning, executing, and closing our most strategic programs. This includes delivery of multiple, related, and complex projects from pre-initiation planning through post-production hypercare. In this role, the PgM will partner with cross-functional team members internal and external to the organization. They will interact with senior leaders on a daily basis and communicate best-practices across the organization. The PgM must adhere to industry-standard software development life cycle (SDLC) methods, PMO standards, and Bob Evans Farms, Inc. business processes. The PgM will collaborates within the PMO on best practices and procedures. They will help coach and train more junior-level members of the team on best-practices, standard work methods, and delivery methodologies. In addition, they will help drive continuous improvement and implementation processes across the entire organization. Concise communication and effective collaboration are vital to ensure project alignment with strategic programs and priorities. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within the scope and budget. Examples of projects that could be assigned are: new product development, cost savings initiatives, business integrations, technology upgrades, process improvements, etc. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, scope, needs/expectations, and success criteria among executive sponsors, project ownership, key stakeholders, and project team. Effectively manage risk, including management strategies, mitigation plans, monitoring, and reporting. This extends to issues and required decisions, ensuring transparency and understanding each project's needs and requirements. Proactively manage project change requests and manager efforts to assess impacts. Socialize with project sponsor(s), leaders, and stakeholders and secure proper approval of proposed changes. Monitor project performance, identify issues and resolutions, and escalate issues via the project sponsor and key business stakeholders as needed. Actively drive timely conclusions with key stakeholders and anticipate upcoming tasks needed to complete critical path. Collaborate and coach Project Managers throughout the organization to apply project management best practices and reinforce standard PMO tools and processes. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education Level: Bachelor’s degree in project management, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or relevant experience. Masters degree preferred. Experience in retail or CPG industries a plus PMP certification required. Experience: Minimum ten years’ experience in Project Management or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong background in a mainstream PPM tool such as Clarity PPM, Planview, ServiceNow Portfolio Management, Microsoft Project, etc. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project)
