**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead complex projects with international customers in the Aerospace and Defense industry. The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing cross-functional teams, developing customer relationships, and delivering results-driven solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of the industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex project lifecycles. Additionally, the Program Manager will be responsible for developing a strategy to grow international depot business opportunities, identifying new markets, and expanding existing relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead complex projects with development and delivery to international customers in the Aerospace and Defense sector
+ Work closely with the business development team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, and to develop and execute capture plans
+ Develop and execute a strategy to grow international depot business opportunities, including:
+ Identifying new markets and customers
+ Expanding existing relationships with current customers
+ Developing and maintaining a strong network of industry contacts and partners
+ Analyzing market trends and competitor activity to inform business development strategies
+ Lead proposal development efforts, including:
+ Developing winning proposal strategies and themes
+ Writing and editing proposal content, including technical volumes, past performance, and management plans
+ Coordinating with subject matter experts to gather and incorporate relevant information
+ Managing proposal schedules and deadlines to ensure timely submission
+ Collaborating with the proposal team to develop and refine proposal content
+ Collaborating with internal stakeholders to align business development efforts with company goals and objectives
+ Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and develop executable Statements of Work (SOWs) for proposal pricing
+ Manage cross-functional teams through the development lifecycle, ensuring successful transition into production
+ Understand and manage integrated master schedules and baselines to ensure project deliverables are met
+ Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to track project performance and ensure cost, schedule, and scope are aligned
+ Develop and manage project plans, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
+ Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and company policies
+ Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US Citizenship.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ 5 or more years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in a relate field leading complex projects with development and hardware delivery. In absence of degree, 8 or more years of direct experience required
+ Proven experience working with Aerospace and Defense type customers and end-users
+ Familiarity with international business practices and cultural norms
+ The ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships
+ Experience managing cross-functional teams and navigating complex project lifecycles
+ Strong understanding of integrated master schedules and baselines, as well as Earned Value Management principles
+ Ability to develop and manage project plans, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business Administration, or related field)
+ Strong understanding of the level of effort required for engineering design of organic-based Depot support facilities
+ Expertise working with international customers and navigating cultural differences
+ Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards (e.g., ITAR, FAR)
+ Experience with project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, SAP)
+ Strong business development and sales skills, with the ability to identify new business opportunities and develop strategic relationships
+ Experience with market analysis and competitive intelligence
+ Professional certification in Program Management (e.g., PMP, PgMP) is desirable
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $142205 - $241749
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
