AsProgram Manager 1-A,you'll lead statewide communications, stakeholder outreach, and policy coordination for the Office for Citizens with Developmental Disabilities (OCDD) – a program with a statewide impact. Minimum Qualifications
Seven years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus four years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR
A bachelor’s degree plus four years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR
An advanced degree or a Juris Doctorate plus three years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
+ Statewide Communications Management: The incumbent is responsible for overseeing all external stakeholder communications and the coordination of training presentations for OCDD. Areas of responsibility include ongoing consultation and technical assistance to professional and program staff related to external communications and training.
+ Policy Development Coordination: Assists with special policy development projects that relate to external stakeholders. This includes the review and modification of policies as assigned by the supervisor.
+ Statewide Outreach The incumbent serves as the designated statewide OCDD Outreach Manager. The position oversees all external outreach efforts and training presentations for OCDD. The position will oversee the development of outreach plans, including maintaining an editorial calendar and a content calendar for statewide outreach, workshops, appearances, and other communication and outreach opportunities.
+ Special Projects The incumbent is responsible for working on special projects as assigned by the supervisor, the OCDD Assistant Secretary, and/or the Office of the Secretary. This may include, but is not limited to, projects and representation on various committees.
