Job Summary

The Program Manager 1 manages many low to medium complexity programs. They ensure short and long-range strategic goals are met and aligned regionally or system-wide.

Essential Functions of the RoleCoordinates, manages and facilitates the design, planning and implementation of many programs and processes and/or quality improvement initiatives.Performs or helps collection and testing of data to identify opportunities for improvement. Identifies findings, outcomes and recommendations.Facilitates program help by soliciting input, maintaining records, and resolving issues. Monitors effectiveness and implements changes as necessary.Acts as point of contact to vendor partners to meet the needs of the program.Develops, maintains and seeks approval for program documentation such as training/educational materials, presentations, calendars, correspondence, etc.Ensures compliance with applicable policies, laws and regulatory agencies.Key Success FactorsProject/Program Management and/or quality improvement experience preferredAble to work in a fast paced, deadline motivated environment while stabilizing many demandsAble to establish professional and cooperative relationships with multidisciplinary team membersExceptional verbal and written communication skillsGood critical thinking skills with ability to solve problems and exercise sound judgementGood knowledge of applicable federal, state and regulatory requirementsAble to successfully manage programs that meet strategic targets and/or contractual obligationsSkill in the use of computers and related softwareMaster's degree preferredPMP certification preferredBelonging Statement
